we're here!
Well, sort of. We're up to our eyeballs in boxes that need to be unpacked. Need to figure out how to upload pictures from the Mac onto the blog.
Jacob is going thru serious separation anxiety....the poor thing. He got his late 6 month appointment here - they are old school....balance that still uses those weights that you push from one side to the other and a yard stick to measure height. But he's like 95% for height and head and 80% for weight. Or something like that.
Jacob also got his first hair cut. And HATED it. Got pictures of those that I need to post. Was cute yesterday when it happened but now looks like a bowl Asian cut. *sigh* Definitely more grown up looking though.
Hayley is doing well. She's missing friends and her toys which have yet to be unpacked. LOL! We've been trying to go out and enjoy the sunny weather which ends tonite with several days of rain coming. Imagine that....rain in Seattle. *smirk*
We were out walking today (Hayley was on her big wheel type toy) and just had a sheriff's helicopter follow us around during the last part of our walk. Guess it could've been coincidence (LOL) but it kept circling around us as we walked and then circled around when we were going into our house. Someone must've called about strangers walking past their house too much. ha ha ha
Miss our grocery stores back in ATL. The ones here are smallish and don't carry the same stuff. Not to mention no super Wal-Marts or Targets that I can find. Don't get me started on the malls either. LOL!
And spent over $60 putting gas in the truck yesterday. OUCH!

I am glad you all made it safely. I can't believe there are no Wal-marts or Targets! I thought they were everywhere! :-) It is nice to know you have additional safety of a helicopter escort when you are out for a walk. ;-) Take care and we miss you! -Su (Susan Bittner)
