still got power
Boy, was the wind blowing last nite! Wasn't as bad as they thought that it was going to be but still bad enough. Our poor neighbor had to wedge a trash can against our gate because the wind ripped the hinges off of it and it was banging between the fence post and our house.
Just came in from shoveling the driveway so hubby could head to the hardware store to get the necessary supplies to fix it. Unfortunately it's still windy and will be continue to be windy for a bit so we don't need it damaging the fence post or our siding. And lemme tell ya, I've been getting a work out the past few days!!!! I'm still sweating from shoveling and have been inside for over 10 minutes now. Will probably have to go out in a bit and shovel some more otherwise he might not be able to get back in the driveway.
Either that or go sledding. LOL!
We're supposed to be getting rain/snow mix for the next few days which might make getting out and about difficult. Need to figure out what's for Christmas dinner and get stuff for that....
