sometimes you just have to wonder about people.....

This boy kindergartener on the bus tried to choke a girl at the beginning of the year. I was there (among others) when the father was told (he was picking up that day) and not one word was mentioned as they were leaving. Maybe it was done in the privacy of their home. Who knows. This is also the same boy that spits on people in the playground at school. And this is also the same boy that's picking on Hayley's friend (the one who also had problems earlier with another boy kindergartener) and to a slight extent Hayley and another friend. Could just be coincidence but they're all Asian to some extent. The mother spoke to the afternoon bus driver about the bully. Today as the bus pulls up she sees him trying to hit her daughter. Both mothers could see it. So she goes over to his mom to ask her to get her son to please stop harassing her daughter. Next thing you know she's screaming asking "What do you want me to do about it? I'm not on the bus, I can't stop what he does. What do you want me to do about it???" At this point, there's the 2 of them, their kids, me and Hayley, and another dad and his daughter left at the bus stop. In plain sight of all of us, she's screaming. Finally she says "You're done" and leaves.

Gee, how about discipline your child for once in his/your life?????? Just because you can't see him hitting someone else doesn't mean that it didn't happen if you get a report about it and doesn't mean that he shouldn't be punished.

And you wonder why kids are turning out the way they are now.....
