first spelling test

Hayley had her first spelling test this past Friday. We've been working at home on spelling the 5 words: I, see, me, the, like. We got the test back yesterday and she got them all right!!!!!

Turns out that they could use the aids on the walls, etc. around the class so that they really didn't have to know how to spell them but my girl does! She can read short sentences with the words that she already knows and does a fair job of sounding out new words that she doesn't.
