4 month "well" visit
Jacob had his 4 month "well" visit today. I say "well" because he's sick. Still. So now he's on amoxicillin. From Publix. Did you know that there are 4 drugs that you can get for free from Publix if they're for less than 10 days? Amoxicillin is one of them. Who knew?
Anyway, he got the rotavirus, hep B, haemophilus influenzae type B (Hib), polio, and DPT vaccines today. Needless to say, he's not a very happy camper.
He currently weighs 16 lbs 0.8 oz (68%) and is 27" tall (95%). Since he's been sick for over a month now, he's not been eating up to his "norm". Guess he's taking after his big sister! We're going to try him on rice cereal tonite to see how that goes. I've also got stage 1 jarred foods ready to go. Now to get the high chair out of the basement!
And time to get big sister Hayley a new car seat so that Jacob can move to her Britax Marathon.
