one down, one to go

I swear, I have no idea what's going on! Jacob finished a bottle last nite around 6ish and then fell asleep around 8ish. What time did he wake up again????? Almost 5!!!!!! Got a bottle and was still asleep when we took him to daycare at 8.

Hayley had her dental appointment this morning. They had to separate her from the other kids - guess they're all in 1 big room getting worked on - and put her in her own room. She's okay. Need to floss more though. "the dentist is out to get me", "the dentist hates me", etc. are phrases floating around currently....

Have to take Jacob to the ped this afternoon to get his head measured. This whole "possibly having to have a helmet to make his head even" is worrying me. Not sure why since it's pretty common but still. So, we'll find out this afternoon what the deal is and if they want to wait until his 4 month appointment next month before they think that a helmet is necessary. I might not wait until then though....

Back from seeing Dr. M. He says that for now just to keep laying him on his side, sitting him up, and getting in plenty of tummy time. Jacob's head is "flat" on one side but it's not flat enough to get a helmet. And especially since his face is symmetrical. If it weren't, he would be sent to the neurologist for a referral but is too young at 3 months for a helmet to begin with. So, we'll see where he is at his 4 month appointment next month.

The funny thing is that everyone that Hayley has run in to since this morning has gotten, "I went to the dentist this morning....see" and then they get a mouthful of teeth. DOH!
