"1 month" appointment
What happens when you have a sleep deprived momma? You think that the pediatrician appointment is for 2 something when in reality it was for 11 am. YIKES! We saw the NP, Elizabeth, instead of Dr. S.
* he has a very slight heart murmur - she didn't think that they'd hear it again at the 2 month appointment but they'll be looking for it
* Dr. M didn't think that the tongue was an issue anymore but as Harriet, the LC, was out due to gallbladder issues, I'll have to wait and see. Won't get it clipped if it's not medically necessary. The pump and I are good friends now (snort!). If it *does* have to be clipped, it'll have to be at a ped ENT's office since his is evidently too thick to cut in the office.
* he has a tendency to turn his head to the left so we need to start placing toys, etc. on his right to make sure that he doesn't have a "dent" in his head from laying on that spot more often. The sleep positoner we have has a "pillow" of sorts so it doesn't happen when he's sleeping.

* 11 lbs 3 oz (72%) - WHAT??????? - at the weight check 3 weeks ago he was 8.5 lbs
Mom sent these for me at 6 weeks old: 22 1/2'" 10 lb 5 oz and my brother's at 5 weeks: 23 3/4" 11 lb 11oz. So, I guess he's not that far off. LOL!

Pump or no pump, sounds like the little fellow is getting plenty to eat. Now if Mom can only get some sleep. Hugs!

Sounds like he is doing well, Shirley. Both of my girls were 10 lbs. at 1 month and 13-14 lbs. at 2 months. Hope he starts to sleep through the night soon.
