dahlias

I had to cut most of the dahlias Sunday after the heavy rain during the weekend.





































There are still some buds yet to bloom. Have to wait for the first frost to cut down all the greenery and then dig them out of the ground. Evidently have to get rid of the mother tubers, separate out the weak/old looking ones, and store in vermiculite, peat or old newspapers. Good thing they're pretty cause they're much too labor intensive for my tastes. LOL!
