Hyak
I thought that I had shot some video using Hayley's camera but not sure where they went. This isn't the first time this has happened. Wonder if there's a time limit or something.

This is the only picture that I was able to get of her looking "normal". Everything else is this head tilted diva type of pose. Silly girl!

Since this week is mid-winter break we decided that the only way we'd see snow is if we drove to it. Kids were excited since they had snow bibs, boots, etc. And had been practicing wearing the gear in the house. We went to Hyak which is about 45 minutes to an hour away. Paid $20 for sno park parking. Got gear on only to see this from Jacob. Not sure why but he did NOT want on those blue snow bibs. So, he took off his jacket and hat to take them off. We let him go down in just his jeans and winter gear.

Getting ready to head down for the first time!

Hayley showing daddy the cuts on her lip after falling out of the sled. She was done for the day after that.

Snack time after the trauma of Hayley and Jacob face planting after falling out of the sled.

The snow "zamboni" came to groom the snow. Definitely got rid of one of the bad spots on the sledding hill.

You can see the aftermath of the face planting from earlier in the day. Complete with still bloody nose. That also includes the scrapes on one knee and the chunk of missing skin on the other. Must've been from when he got run over by the snow tube.

I fell out and skidded down on the left side of my body....it's still a bit tender. All in all it was a pretty traumatic day for the kids and I doubt that we'll be going again any time soon. LOL!
