moving half way across the country

Jacob's new 'do since he wasn't in school anymore until we moved. Originally was supposed to be a mohawk that turned into Avatar Aang. Funny how many people, old and young, that knew what it was!

Packers first day. They were a person short. I ended up packing most of my scrap room myself.

Sold my car to Ben, a neighbor's son who had been eying my car for a long time.  Glad that it is going to such a great home.

53' moving truck arrives around 8 am.  They didn't get done until around 7:30.  And of course it started raining around noon.

Waiting to get seated at Claim Jumpers - one last dinner with friends.

Flight out was SUPER early.  One of Jacob's many naps that morning.

We visited the train store again.

Picture taken by Chuck.  It's official.....

Another nice day outside

Moving truck arrives. Course it was 30 degrees outside without windchill. I was FROZEN!!! And it snowed off and on all day.

Blowing bubbles out on the deck. It was a nice, sunny day.

First day at school!  This is the bookstore area.

The school is laid out by the rainbow colors - different grades have different colors. So by following the rainbow on the ground, you can tell where your class is.

Deer on the other side of the fence (farm side). First time we had seen them.
