Forks, WA and Victoria, Canada trip

We headed out Monday to the Hoh Rain Forest. When we were close we started seeing signs for beaches. However the signs were deceiving and it seemed more like the number of miles to the beach. Later found out that they were Beach 1, Beach 2, Beach 3, and Beach 4. Stopped at Beach 4.

Heading to the Hoh Rain Forest.

This sign was up under the roof of the visitor's center.

Waiting outside the visitor's center. Grandma purchased the flying squirrel puppets for the kids.

Stopping off to see the largest Sitka spruce.

On Tuesday we left Forks, WA and headed to Hurricane Ridge in the Olympic National Park.

1 of 2 deer that we saw. The other was close enough that Hayley could've touched it but didn't.

Found quite a few starfish (pinkish items in the water) while waiting for the ferry at Port Angeles.

Finally! The ferry was late arriving.....

Waiting for the ferry to unload.

Cold up on the deck of the ferry.

Coast Guard station

Some night shots of Victoria after dinner.

On Wednesday we spent most of the day at Butchart Gardens.

On our last day in Victoria (Thursday) the kids wanted to go to the museum. Evidently there's a cool bug museum in town, but they didn't want anything to do with live bugs. Even if they were in cages. LOL!

The sea plane home.

1 of 2 cruise ships that we passed on our way out of Victoria.

Heading back inside. The kids liked to go in and out. The return trip was definitely warmer than the outbound trip.

Landing at Port Angeles, WA and waiting to get off the ferry.
