Cinco de Mayo party

Went to our neighbor's house for a Cinco de Mayo party on Saturday. Another neighbor brought 2 pinatas for the kids. Needless to say Hayley lost the battle with the pinata stick. You could hear the noise of her head being hit followed instantaneously by her screaming. It turned into a super huge goose egg within 5 seconds. Basically from eyebrow to eyebrow is swollen on her forehead. Put ice on it. Debated on taking her to the ER but her pupils were fine, she wasn't talking funny, no vomiting, etc. She basically had ice on her head the rest of the weekend.

Sent an email to her teacher this morning and she obviously didn't get it before she saw Hayley this morning. Said that it was the first thing she noticed.

The poor friend who accidentally hit her in the head was beside herself and the whole family made cards for Hayley.
