new school district

A lot happened this spring/summer. We put the house on the market and moved north. Very stressful indeed!

8/6 - Went to school to have pics made and also to pick up schedule.  Since we enrolled so late, it wasn't ready.

8/7 - stopped by Jacob's school to find out that they had open house the following week

8/11 - stopped by to get schedule and locker combination to put in school supplies.  This year she has an upper locker!

8/12 - Open house for Jacob.  His classes are also on the 2nd floor.

8/13 - first day of school as a 7th grader!

Bus stop is at the front of the neighborhood (0.5 mile from the house).  Mostly girls in our neighborhood.

First day as a 3rd grader!

My view from the drop off line since Jacob has no bus service.  We are too close to the school.  There are a LOT of kids that walk/ride their bikes from the neighborhoods around the school.  A lot of them unaccompanied which was surprising to me.  Granted they are in packs....
