Holiday clay class #2

Hayley's bird bath after it was fired in the kiln. They were going to paint/glaze it in this class and then make a new clay object.

Jacob isn't actually in the class but I asked if it would be okay if we hung out since driving back and forth, while close, wasn't convenient. Plus this way I could take pictures and then put them onto a DVD when the class was done.

Making cupcake holder this week. You can see the finished one on the table - it's got the cherry on top.

Mrs. Kellie Sue giving more tips for the cupcake holder.

Clay marks already at the beginning of class!

Starting to paint (I guess it's 'glaze') the bird bath.

Hayley painting the bottom of her bird bath and Jacob painting a random fired pot.

Jacob putting his train ornament on the tray to be fired.

A cupcake that Hayley made.

Darling clay class photos!! It reminded of my my kids when they made similar clay projects (unfortunately they have gone to--you-know-where after collecting years of dust). But the memories are priceless! HUGS to you, Shirley, you are such a great mom!
